End of the YEAR

The end has come so quickly. Where has time gone?

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it."

Ferris Bueller had it good that one beautiful day in sunny Chicago. Why can't I have an awesome day like that with my boyfriend and best friend?

My life is its own kind of perfect right now. I have an amazing boyfriend and an awesome best friend. My brother and I are very close and I'm loving the babysitting jobs I've been geting. I'm graduating soon and I can't wait to be liberated!

Some pics about what I've been up to [:

1) Choir Trip to San Luis Obispo/Pismo/Santa Barbara/Moro Bay/Hearst Castle
2) Prom with my boyfriend Leo
3) Senior Rally 2010 with Lindsay Shearer
4) Cabaret; Chorale performed September in 70's outfits.

As Of 8-22-09

I miss my Gracie-girl and Phia, and my little Star Wars fanatic. They are so adorable (: They are in Wisconsin, and I don't know when I'll see them again. Summer has been going great. It's hard to believe that school starts on Wednesday. Class of 2010 (: U-High! Our Idaho trip was amazing. I love floating down the Boise River. I also went to a party last night. Well, a Mormon party. It was fun. Today we performed Baptisms for the Dead which was really great. We had 10 YW. I was also glad I got to babysit for Melissa and Ryan Ingram on Wednesday. Erika is so big and Morgan is adorably hilarious! Anyone agree Ice Blocking is fun? I might do that tonight!

Jacob, Sophia, and I. I don't know what she was looking at. Nothing interesting was on t.v!

We were very suprised Sophia was actually looking AND smiling at the SAME time!

I had just finished reading the Jonas Brother article from Good Housekeeping when I decided to go back to my room. Twenty minutes earlier I had been locking my door and unlocking it with the key, because I am a bored almost seventeen year old. So when I left my room I didn't relaize I shut the locked door. I turned the knob. No luck. I freaked. So I asked Jacob to open it...without the key. To which he gruntled his displeasure. He tried taking off the doorknob. No luck. So he set up a ladder and climbed onto the porch overhang and popped off my screenw. He then climbed inside, unlocking my door. Then he proceeded to climb back through and readjust the screen.

Take a look at the video (:

So this year has been pretty good. I got through it in one piece. I survived. And what kept me going was EFY this summer. And Miss Taylor Swift and her inspirational song writing skills.

This year could have gone a bunch of different ways but I kept on the strait and narrow with all my might. I remembered who I was. Mostly because my spanish teach is half of a Mormon. I just wish drama could die. But if there was no drama, girls would be boring. And guys don't like boring girls. Really. This year was pretty good. I wanted more excitement but I think I ended up with a perfect amount of fun. Prom, Spring Break, New Friends!

Summer here I come. Camp, EFY, Utah, Idaho, cousins, Grad parties, endless shopping, and endless tanning.

school has ended
it's time to celebrate
fitting in with the summer fun
let the warm sand warm our very hearts
let the heat of summer carry us

let it help us progress
through the year we gained knowledge
let us use it
we can dream big goals
we can dream anything
let's learn to play the roles
roles that define us
our souls
finding our inner beauty can teach us
teach us to live to our fullest
let's be fearless
